About the HIT Resources List
The web sites listed here are recommended sources of information on exercise and nutrition and of exercise equipment. Inclusion in this listing does not mean I agree with everything stated or recommend every product sold on a particular site, although I am in general agreement with and suggest reading the information on the site related to the subject it is listed under.
If any of the links here are broken or out of date, please contact me and let me know so I can update or remove it.
To recommend
a web site for inclusion here contact me with the address and category you think the site should be listed under. If I link to your web site, a reciprocal link to baye.com is appreciated.
For this resource to be of any value I must be highly selective with regards to which sites are listed here. Although I receive several requests for links every week, most of them are not listed either because the information provided on the site is poor or inaccurate or because the site sells products which I would not recommend.
To qualify for listing, a site must meet specific criteria for the category it is listed under:
Exercise sites must provide information generally consistent with high intensity training principles, and not promote potentially dangerous and nonsensical training methods such as plyometrics or "explosive" training.
Nutrition sites must provide information consistent with current scientific research and not make unsupported claims for or promote diets or dietery supplements lacking scientific support.
Equipment sites must feature equipment of high quality in both design and manufacturing, but do not necessarily have to provide information consistent with high intensity training principles, although it is a plus.
Personal Trainer Education and Certification sites must be for organizations with a general philosophy consistent with high intensity training principles.
Sites for individual personal training facilities will not be listed unless they contain unique articles or useful information on high intensity training not available elsewhere. |
